Overview: The iPhone 3G glass and LCD screen repair can be completed by most people with avarage technical ability. The iPhone 3G screen is made up of 3 core layers which is the glass/digitizer, midframe, and LCD. You first need to determine which components are broken. If the glass is broken but the LCD screen still displays the image correctly then you only need the glass/digitizer component. If both the glass is broken and the LCD is not displaying correctly, then you need both the glass/digitizer and LCD.
The iPhone screen components are layered in the following order. The glass/digitizer is fixed to the midframe with double sided tape. The LCD attaches to the bottom side of the mid-frame. It's critical no dust or debris gets between the screen and the LCD as this will be visible when the iPhone is powered on.

If glass/digitizer is cracked or the touch functionality does not work you require the glass/digitizer part |
For severe drops, you could require both the glass/digitizer screen and LCD |
If the LCD display does not light up or certain parts of the screen do not display then you require the LCD part |
The parts between the 3G and 3Gs are not compatible between the two model iPhones |
Use a suction cup to remove touch screen glass |
Remove all dust and particles from both the glass and LCD prior to reassembling |
Don't overheat the glass as it could damage the proximity sensor or speaker on the midframe |
Prior to final reassembly onto iPhone base, bend ribbon connector #3 to allow for good angle of attack when reinserting |
Use care when removing the LCD as it will break with any bending force |

Overview: The iPhone 4 screen manufacturing process is different than the iPhone 3G 3Gs. The LCD is fused to the glass/digitizer so you don't have the option of just replacing individual components. To properly replace the iPhone screen, you need the whole assembly that includes the glass/digitizer and LCD in a single unit. More iPhone Screen Repair details can be found on www.iMobileDoctor.com.

Green Bay iPhone Repair One of the main selling points of the iPhone is as a “smartphone” – a next-generation phone that is capable of offering a great deal more features and functionality than other regular cell phones. For many people who need to attend to important matters through the internet and email on the go, smartphones are the perfect business companion, and many people have bought an iPhone to fulfill that very purpose. Green Bay iPhone repair services are perfect for helping in these situations. They would definitely face problems, however, if they were unable to use their phones for any period of time, such as if the screen were to crack such that the phone became unusable. iPhone screen repair, as many people in that situation have found out, is neither fast nor cheap when done by a workshop. Far better to purchase your own iPhone screen replacement and perform the repair yourself, and have your phone up and running in no time at all instead of having to wait several days for a workshop to finish the repairs and paying an arm and a leg for their services. Let Green Bay iPhone repair help you Today!
When you order from a reputable website that offers iPhone screen replacement kits, you should receive your order within 3 working days, depending on where in the continental United States you live and where the shop you ordered from is located. A good tip to follow if you are pressed for time is to pay attention to the actual physical location of the shop that you order from, as a shop that is located in the same state as you are will likely be able to get your order to you within a day or two at the most.
